Ciarán Parnell
Ciarán is a singer-songwriter based in Dublin, Ireland. In addition to writing his own music, he produces and arranges music for other artists and also occasionally dabbles in illustration and design.
Coming up through the local DIY punk music scene, Ciarán released his first EP of solo material in 2007. Over the years he has poured his creative energy into original bands such as Facing and Starters, with whom he has released numerous EPs and albums and toured extensively around Ireland, the UK and Europe. He has shared a bill with many international touring acts such as The Wonder Years, Have Heart and Tides of Man. His involvement in the Dublin scene has also seen him design many t-shirts, gig flyers and album covers for local bands.
In 2010, he graduated from Dublin City University with a degree in Multimedia, specialising in audio production. He has gone on to work extensively on the production side of the industry, having a hand in releases from acts such as Bry, Pillow Queens, Frustration, Stu Daly and Liza Flume.
Today Ciarán can mostly be found playing events around Ireland with his cover band, Poplife. He continues to write new music and produce, his recent collaboration with Pink Rabbits being featured on RTÉ's coverage of Euro 2020.
